TAD E1 Speaker

I'm surprised to find there's not a thread dedicated to these speakers on AA's TAD forum.

As anyone audition / own them?

Kal Rubinson 01-06-2013 08:59 PM

Listening to them right now.

You like em Kal?

I heard them briefly at RMAF a few months ago. I was quite impressed with them.

For 28K€ that's not enough... unless you're being ironic :scratch2:

There are very few TAD dealers in the US and most of us have only heard the Reference series speakers at shows such as RMAF. The Reference speakers withe the proper amplification are stunning. I hope the E doesn't stand for Entry Level because they are still pretty pricey. Like the Reference speakers the E-1's are probably very good speakers too. They just happen to be offered at a price point were the competition is also very good.

I will be looking forward to Kal's review.

Of course, I am being sarcastic. My serious comments are reserved for the review.
