Interesting amp. Great price point. They'll sell a ton of them.

Very interesting indeed. I’d love to hear a pair.

Does Schiit still have its excellent return policy? If so, auditioning at home would not be horribly expensive.

Yes, 15 day return policy.

Reviews from Tyr owners on another forum are very positive.

Well, I sprung for a pair back in June of '22. They are wonderful.

I was at the Bay Area HiFiCon meetup in San Jose today, which is a headphone users get-together and listened to a "fully-loaded" Schiit Ragnarok integrated amp, and it was very impressive. The fully loaded Rangarok comes with both a MM phono preamplifier and a true Multibit Unison USB DAC "built-in", two balanced inputs, one RCA line-level input, one RCA phono input, and one USB DAC input.

The build quality and execution were excellent, as well. All this for....$1799. What's not to like?

You can see a young woman, at left, listening to it very contentedly here at the show.

It sounded....great. Very impressed with it.

Was Jason at the show?

No, none of the staff from Schiit were there, they have a point of contact here in the Bay Area that organized the show. But Schiit did send quite a bit of demo gear up to the organizer for folks to listen to, and I think, may also paid for the rental of the hall. They effectively had two full tables of demo gear to listen to.
