Manley Baby EL-84 Mono Amps

Recently purchased a pair of Manley 35 Watt monoblock amps off eBay.

The realistic sound reproduction these amps produce is truly something special to hear!

Yes, these amps were in production before the Mahi monos. Amps run ultralinear and have the Mercury Magnetics transformers (same transformers as in the VTL Tiny-Triode monos). They get quite hot like the Tiny Triodes--I wonder if the Manley-wound transformers run cooler?

Maybe, could not tell ya. Maybe call Gamma at Manley he knows his shit over there, and might have worked on those. Which tubes you running in those? Self bais on the output tubes?

Each mono amp runs four EL84 power tubes that are individually biased with trim pots.

Yes--good eye Ivan! The silver-plated WireWorld power cords work very well with these Manley monoblocks.
