Finally a line on CR-1's

I finally have a line on getting the TAD CR-1's

The wheels are turning, if I get them what to mate them up with. Also where to put them; perhaps Florida. :scratch2:

Conrad-Johnson ARTsa amp and GAT preamp. Time to branch out from Burmester and Mac! ;)

Why did I know you would suggest that? :D

We just want you to experience what we C-J owners do everday! ;)

The other line I would suggest would be Octave, an Octave Jubilee pre and MRE monos.

But I think the C-J would mate better with the CR-1s...the very slight warmth will be just the ticket for the more analytical CR-1s.

Based purely on looks, I would prefer CJ.

Ivan.......I think Accuphase would be a fine compliment to TAD CR-1's.

I think Stephen is correct about this combo. I believe it would be perfect. CJ would totally complement the TADs nature.

without a question, TAD's own electronics which were designed specifically for the cr-1's.

I never thought of that. Excellent idea Joost. A big thumbs up.
