Whats below the 4367 in the JBL prof series?

Try and find/listen to JBL L300’s. They are remarkable for their age; no wonder they have a cult like following.

There are some L200's f/s near me I was thinking about demo ing. Are they near the L300 sonically or is there no contest?

They aren’t remotely close in performance. Advantage L300; I have owned the L200’s and currently still own L300’s.

Duly noted. TY

L-200's were great looking, tho...

I liked the looks of the L-200's so much that I had speaker grilles made for my 4343B's....Giant L-200's now.

The 4367 is the best speaker I have owned in the past 30+ years. I use those at home and in my studio at work I use the JBL Pro 708P w/ a pair of JL 10" subs.
The 708 is powered (500 w/ each) and they're also phenomenal. The 708 has the smaller version of the D2 driver which is what makes this line extraordinary. Try to give those a listen :)

TY Pio.

Maybe ill have to give the 4367's another listen......

I wonder what was in front of the 4367s? I consider mine completely neutral and very revealing of source. End of game regarding speakers for me.
What in particular did you not like about the sound?

The JBLs were just reviewed in the latest Stereophile. The reviewer is a long-term owner/listener to Altec Valencia horns and in the end, while he gave the JBLs strong endorsement, he prefers his Valencias.
