This is just the beginning. Lots more information and trickle down technology to come in the 13-1/2 days leading up to the world-wide launch. FYI, there will be be about 75-80 dealers around the world who will have SabrinaX set up and ready to play for the public on September 1.

Bill, would you recommend Wilson owners get those new trickle down speaker terminal lugs for their older speakers and why? Same for the diodes (I am not sure if those are different than what Alexia 1 has but it appears so). Thoughts?:scratch2::smoking:

Hi Marc

For the diodes/spikes an upgrade is not possible without drilling into the bottom of the X material cabinet. Alexia 1 has essentially the same diode. However the post and spike are 3/8" - 16. The newer version, on all of our speakers with the introduction of SabrinaX is 1/2"-13.

Better news on the binding posts. You can buy an Upgrade Kit on the Wilson Parts Store or have your dealer install the new binding posts. It's a very easy replacement with no soldering required.

Hope this helps.

Bill

Use the Wilson trade in program and upgrade to a Sasha DAW or wait until the Sabrina X comes out and upgrade. It what high end audio is all about.

There is a small window where you can upgrade for the difference in cost. I don't know the specifics, but you should talk to your dealer about it. I did this with my Sasha 1's several years ago when I upgraded to Sasha 2.

You are at 3 months, maybe 4...definitely worth a discussion with your dealer IMHO.
