Venom V12 NR vs Wireworld Silver Electra Power Cord

I’m actually looking to upgrade my 2 Pangea power cords on my VPI SDS and possibly use my Wireworld Silver Electra PC’s that are currently powering my Bryston BDA-3 Dac and Aurender N100H.

Would the Shunyata Venom V12 NR be a better choice for the BDA-3 and N100H than the Silver Electra Power Cord?

For the N100H, your best bet would the Venom V14D. A great way to see for your own eyes how well the V14D works is to plug it into you HDTV, if the plug is compatible.

For the BDA-3, a Venom NR V10 or V12. Or better yet, a Delta NR.

I can only speak from my own experience: my WW Silver Electra 5^2 is a good PC, but doesn't match the original Shunyata Venom 3 for performance. I use 'em on stuff like the HDTV in the bedroom, etc. YMMV.

If posssible, rent some in and see what works best.

Stephen... FWIW, the WW Silver Electra 5^2 is close to 10 years old now.

Thanks Stephen.... I might rent or borrow the 14D it compare to the WW.

That's correct. As is (or was), the Venom 3.

Yeah, I like doing first-hand comparisons in my own system. There's always the potential for various interactions amongst different systems.
