(You can delete my posts if you like--Instead of me cluttering up the thread with babble. I'll post some pics to it fairly soon). |
Try and beat these mad photographer's skills, Ivan!

OK..... here's the Bryston gear. Will do a 'full monty' view at some point.

Thanks!

The room is 20 feet wide, and 35 feet front to back. Those chairs are about 12 feet back from the front wall. It also opens into a stairwell going downstairs into an open hall and an open hallway upstairs, both to the left in the wide angle view, which was taken about 20 feet back from the front wall. The itchen is behind me in that same shot. The dogs are moveable. :D So anyway, it's a large and irregular space, but sounds pretty good, especially with all the new Bryston gear. I'm trying to come up with a way to do room treatment that meets Mrs Moonhawk's approval!! |
This is a great shot! What a beautiful room! Thanks for sharing!

What amps is James using, is that a 4B and 7B for each channel that's my guess anyways? I love the finish on the Bryston speakers and the active model must sound fabulous driven like that.

Yes a 7B mono on the bass drivers and a 4B stereo on the mids and tweeter on each speaker. The silver box in the middle is the dedicated active crossover. james |

OK......... here's what I see from my listening position (my desk) through the 18-20' of the front part of my room (workshop is behind me). The speakers are 6' from my ears, so am listening in the near-field, which minimizes the room interaction while at my desk. Not optimal when putzing around at my workbenches, but I'm not listening seriously then in any event.
