Universal Remote Control

Thanks to John [JFR0317] I have picked up the URC line of remotes. I am pretty impressed by the looks of their product & features. Is anyone using the model 3000 or 6000?

I had the 3000 but sold it and bought a MX-980. Didn't care for the MX-3000 form factor.

Arthur Fulford v. Logitech, Inc. Civil Action No. C08-02041 MMC (JCS)
United States District Court for Northern District of California

I bought this top of the line model 2000 Logitect universal remote. It seems
that it doesn't have the RF signal that is advertised to have. (About
$450 retail) So they are sending me there next best unit with the
RF function (about 395 retail) for free to settle this class action
suit :banana::banana:

I have the 3000 and I love it. I did all the programming myself and spent countless hours doing so. I also added the URC lighting switches- wall and lamp and they are great for post construction room. I have 4 controllers and it handles the dining room and great room. I need to get one for the kitchen so i dont have to get up.

I also added this to the MX3000 and it is awesome. I have a Sony 400 dvd changer and most of my collection is stored in there.

I wish Redeye allows brand Logos and a prettier UI.

I'm using the Redeye!! They have an awesome product!! I never really thought about, the look of the UI. :) I've been using a CoreCL9 for 23 years. The UI was awful, but it was the best remote ever made!!! Remotes today still can't do what the CoreCL9. The Redeye does come close and add things the CoreCL9 can't do. Personally for me give a functional unit that does what is suppose to do. I've been burned to many times by a pretty face. Tight hips and loooong legs. Oppps I've gone of course..... I've been burned time by pretty looking epuipment and no function. I'm sure RedEye will get around to do pretty UI for those who need it.

I use the MX 3000, and I think it is one of the best.
