streamers with preamp......
 

how many of you folks use a streamer to control your amp, i just got the aurender a20 and i am tossing around the idea of using it to control my amplifier, thoughts?

If you use a preamp now, try it and see. Think it very much depends on the amp, streamer and preamp. I did it for a while with my Linn Klimax DSM, but eventually added a preamp, which made a significant improvement.

I have not tried it myself, but every review I've ever read of this type of situation finds the preamp to be an improvement
