Repair Yamaha T-85 Tuner?

I'm having trouble with the good old T-85. Suddenly the front panel stopped communicating with the unit, so I can no longer change settings, channels, or anything -- total loss of control. (It does play the station to which it was last set.) It's almost as though a connector has come loose or something. Any suggestions (or a way to contact Warren directly)? -- Clark2

Pop the top (remove the cover) and push down on all the connectors. May be an easy fix.

Hi fi Engine would have a service manual which might help you i would with power off and cord disconnected remove the top cover then locate the connecting lead for the front panel
as the member above advises. It may be a matter of taking the lead out of its socket then putting it in again. I have a Marantz Tuner which had a similar issue and doing that with the connecting leads fixed it.

The T-85 is a fine tuner, worth repairing if the connector seating advice given here proves ineffective.
