Yamaha 5000 Series

2 Attachment(s)
Only being offered thru six (6) outlets in the U.S.

Here is the M-5000 power amp pic. Matching preamp, TT & speakers on the Music Direct website. Wonder if they will be offering a CDP or streamer in the future?

Yamaha cd-s5000?

Nikko - If you find one, post a pic.

Am guessing Yamaha thinks the digital disk is dead, so why bother.

Disks are far from dead - especially in Yamaha's home country.

I think it’s inevitable that there’s a 5000 series digital source component unless they sell none of these.

perhaps they will come out with a all-in-one piece like Technics has done.

SL-G700 is quite impressive. Even has XLR outs. Only drawback is the built-in DAC, which, no-doubt, will be "old" (in the digital world) in another year.
