Good evening all from Louisville, KY
I became a subscriber this evening as I will start research to find my end game retirement setup. My current setup includes a Luxman 550AX, Harbeth 7ES3’ s, a Mac Mini and a Chord Qutest DAC. I just got the Qutest and I am now a Chord believer. I love what that little thing does. I also use a Sony HAPZ1ES and some Foster and Sennheiser gear for my headphone setup.
Lately, I have been fixated with Accuphase integrateds and TAD speakers as top options for my end game system. I just seem to gravitate to the Japanese gear. Unfortunately, we have no high end dealers in the area so I am at the mercy of online reviews at this stage. I look forward to perusing the forums to help lead me down the path to making a decision. Of course, this isn’t the only reason I joined....I love spending hours going down the audio rabbit hole of researching and reading the thoughts and opinions of fellow members. Cheers, Dave |
Welcome! A lot of knowledge and experience in this group, and anxious to help.

Dave... Welcome to AA!
Glad you found us. :ok: |
Dave, good to have you on AA......Jim (WeirdCuba) here in Atlanta has a full Accuphase/TAD R1 setup. I listened to it a couple of weeks ago, it was really nice. You'll see his system and posts pop up on here.

Thanks, Buck, Yes I have already read some of Jim’s posts. I’m looking for a more modest setup...maybe an E-480 and ME1 but, who knows at this point, my thoughts and opinions seem to change each day..lol.

Thanks All....I am impressed with my current Luxman but have always wanted an Accuphase. Ivan, I hope to make it to one of your rooms next year to listed to some of your equipment. For now, I look forward to sorting through all of the info on the forums.
