New Manufacture Open Reel Tape Deck 2020-2021

Apparently a new player has emerged. This one comes from France. Appears to be well executed, but I'm scratching my head a bit on if it supports a record function or not. Doesn't appear to, but then why the input loop and connections on the back panel? Main page of their website indicates they make a recorder. Not sure if they're two separate models or not.

Leave it to our fine French friends to confuse things. (I'm of French heritage, so I can say that)

Anyway, here it is: https://www.analogaudiodesign.com/

No info on price but I can assure you it'll cost you.

It looks to me like the TP is a player, and the TR is a recorder.

^^ That’s also what I think.
And the price is ???

That would be a somewhat bizarre approach, but I guess whatever floats their boat. As far as price is concerned, think big.

If you look closely on the photos, one machine has a record button and the other does not.

The TR 1000 seems to record and play

The TP 1000 seems to play only

TR will be around 13,000 Euros

TP will be around 10,000 Euros
