Your short list of great spkrs sub 9k (used)

Looking hard at some new (to me) spkrs for my mc462. Ive gotten alotta info lately and have even demoed a few pr locally.

On my list so far in no particular order are: K3 canton, Wilson WP 7,8 or newer,Legacy focus signatures, jbl k4700, L300 perhaps 4367's, Aeriel7T, Bryston T, Revel ultima 2's, perhaps B and W diamond series and am open to other suggestions as well.

Gonna have to draw a hard line at 9K usd so that will severely limit my options.

If i have no luck then I may consider new but the price gouging with anything new that requires freight is a real turn off. Hoping the economy resolves that sooner than later.

All the best 45 Shooter

With 8 different brands, and multiple models; I believe you need to narrow your list way down. The only thing that matters is your own ears, I don’t believe much else matters.

Sonus Faber Olympica III, Joseph Audio Perspective.
Your budget is in the sweet spot for some excellent speakers.

Put the Magico A-series on your list. One basic question - will these be optimized for a single listening spot, or need to sound good for several listening spots?

It won't take kissing a lot of frogs, at all. There are a lot of terrific speakers in your price range.

Two more for your consideration:

Spatial Audio M3 Sapphire
Dynaudio Heritage Special

Magico A3 gets my vote.

Thx Puma kzh also.

So far in my short search Ive found that many spkr sellers dont have much info on the history of their own speakers!

Ask them if the units have orig drivers.....Not sure

Ask them date/year of manufacture.....no idea

What they do know is they wanna scrape every last nickel out of ther selling price.

and the alternative is to buy new where you're hit by price gouging and exhorbitant shipping/delv costs......

But Im willing to wait for the right speaker and the right deal like I have done so many times in the past:thumbsup:
