Advice for a TV 65"-75"

Ciao a tutti

I'm looking for a tv between 65 to 75 inch for a new livingroom. Distance from eyes and tv will be around 3,5mt so probably 4K will be not so smart but I like it :D
I saw now there is a lot of different choice so I ask to you if you can give to me some suggestion

Thanks

Again, resolution is not the only reason for 4K. 4K is a whole new video standard. How many colors can you see from your seating position?

In July of 2014 I purchased a Sony XBR70X850B (70" 4K LED) and I have been very happy with it.

At the time, 4K pricing was substantially more than 1080P LED pricing but I definitely saw a difference. I decided to purchase one after comparing two Sony units side by side.

I turned off one TV, then flattened the color, brightness and contrast settings on the other, then adjusted the settings to what looked good to me. I watched a bluray for a few minutes, then I turned off TV #1 and went to TV #2, following the same procedure.

Then I turned TV #1 back on and compared them side by side (the store personnel were very accommodating :)) for about 10 - 15 minutes. I picked the 4K TV as being a better picture based on the quality I was seeing from the same source.

I went home to think about it, kind of put off by the price. The next day the store called to let me know they had just taken in a 3 day old customer return and offered it at almost 45% off retail with a 3 year in-home warranty.

I did the deal... :D

I've been looking at 75" 4K TVs. I'm leaning towards Samsung at this point.

I'm in the market for new tv's too. My local Best Buy/Magnolia has 4K and OLED tv's. The OLED version was quite impressive (and much more expensive). Any feedback on LG OLED 4K tv's? Thx.

Sony here too, great picture in this size range. Actually it was Michael aka Yamaki's search for his tv that led me to the Sony as well, an XBR-65X850C, and the recommendation was confirmed by my dealer.

There was a bunch of us looking at TV's while I was on my search and many chimed in with their research and opinions here:

Wow!!! Picking A TV Is Not Easy

I'm a plasma guy because I don't like the shortcomings of LCD TVs so if my Pioneer Kuro plasma gives out today, my only choice will be the LG 65EF9500 OLED. There are still a few negatives with this new technology but they are minor compared to the issues with LCDs.
