You just have to watch them knowing that they are supposed to be completely over the top, absurd, escapist entertainment. They're just OK IMO, I never got the hype.

I can only watch the occasional "check your brain at the door" film. Two within the same month is just too much, especially when the are the third or fourth in a series.
