TAD Future
Anyone know what the future of TAD Is now that Pioneer has largely divested themselves of the AV business?
|
I heard that it is uncertain but was not part of the businesses that were sold off.

The ultra high-end TAD division will remain with the Pioneer corporation. |
This subject has already been discussed when there was the announcement of Pioneer selling part of their business.
Someone mentionned, I believe it was Ivan, that TAD was managed as a distinct company and is not impacted by what is happening at Pioneer. |

That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing your information about TAD with us.

Thanks; so happy to hear that!
News was hard to find when the announcements were first made, and even the dealers showcasing TAD at RMAF 2014 didn't seem to know. |
All the dust has settled, and happy to report TAD is unaffected.

In my experience the dust never settles on the TAD portion of this kind of deal. They were probably left alone because they don't do enough business to be of interest by the new purchaser of Pioneer's assets.
Hopefully TAD will be bought by someone to keep it going but if the dumping of TAD comes I'll be very interested in a deep deal on the mono's! |
So Far so Good, I hope it continues.
