Rp-600m ii

After listening to my son-in-laws RP-600M I've ordered a pair of the newer model II's (was given a delivery date of 10/10, so here soon). "Fun" is probably the best description to give these speakers. Thus, should be 'fun' to use while I speaker shop for permanent new speakers (no more purchasing speakers without an audition for me). The RP-600M II's will end up being used with the TV once that happens. If I like them as much as I think I will, at some point I'll likely pull the cross-over and install some boutique caps.

Congrats Glenn, enjoy them! At 94.5dB should be fun even with 300Bs

Thank you.
They do sound better after 24hr, but I'm afraid that the sensitivity rating from Klipsch is very optimistic. My Canton Ref 9K's are rated at 87db and, per my sound meter, the Klipsch are almost exactly the same. Same number of clicks on the volume knob provides pretty much the same sound level. Oh, well. Guess I got what I paid for and I did not pay much. They are decent, but not Canton Ref 9Ks. They will do better with the TV replacing 45yr-old Yamaha speakers.
