New McIntosh MR87 tuner

I just replaced my tuner from the 80's (Yamaha TX-500U) with a new McIntosh MR87.

It's quite a significant improvement. I didn't realize that FM radio can sound this good. I've not listened to the radio much recently, but I suspect I'll listen to it a bit more now.

I agree, having a great tuner is a lot of fun. :ok:

Enjoy your new tuner! While there's a lot of garbage on FM, there are also bright spots if you know where and when to tune.

Yea, I've been searching the internet for radio stations in my area (Indianapolis, IN) to see what's around, and I found an informative site (radio-locator.com) that's been helpful. Additionally, I'm using the old-school method of just moving the dial up and down to see what I can pick up!

I plan on getting a better FM antenna installed in my attic when the weather gets a little cooler. I want to get the most out of a tuner like this.

From Mcintosh. The MR87 AM/FM Tuner continues this legacy by allowing you to enjoy the multitude of free music streaming over the airwaves.

Does it have internet radio?

It does not have internet radio - it is purely an AM/FM tuner. They were using the term "streaming" in the old-school sense.
