LIGHT DiMS

If anyone has a 'too bright' LED or other display they can't turn down enough, give LIGHT DiMS (Amazon) a try. Tried to put a resistor in series with a much too bright LED in my phono-preamp and it did very little. Rather than pulling the case and firing up the soldering iron, these are simple, effective, easy to use & cheap. Peel the size/shape you want off the backer and place over the offending light/display.

That is a great recommendation. I have heard complaints about too bright leds on some really high end equipment. This will be great for them. Happily I am not one of that group.

I use them frequently; they have many different kinds. Opacity, color, etc.

I'm grateful not to have that problem in my current setup, but I have had that problem several times in the past. Nothing destroys low light ambiance worse than an obnoxious LED glaring at you. Those Light Dims are definitely the cats meow.
