DS Audio optical cartridge

Anyone using this technology from DS Audio. I’m thinking about their entry level
DS E1 combination.

Listened to their mid-level models at the Capital Audiofest. Was quite good, but requires its own "equalizer', which I would call a dedicated phono-preamp (only good with their cartridges). On a noisy LP it was just as noisy as a standard cartridge. Not sure of any perceived advantages.
