Wow, end of a great band...sad indeed, a reminder to all of us of our mortality...

From the "Not Dead Yet" tour.

I came of age with Genesis. To see it end this way is so heart breaking.

I will ALWAYS remember Phil as I saw him live in '78 during their "And Then There Where Three" tour.

An incredible talent vocally and moreso as a drummer. He carried Genesis so much further than Gabriel could have, although I admit, in an entirely different direction.

I remember my wife and I seeing the "Invisible Touch" tour in '86. It was mostly me that wanted to see them (birthday present) but we both commented on what a fantastic concert it was. The guy NEVER stopped. When the rest of the band went off stage for intermission Phil played a drum solo for about 15-20 minutes until they came back on.

It's painful to see him now. How time has caught up to all of us. Everyone has different chapters in their lives. I wish the best to him in his new chapter.

I know the limitations in his voice in this tour, but I'd have loved watching them again.
The only one time I saw them live was at the reunion in 2007 almost 15 years ago.
Incredible performance for so long. Hats off. Among my top five bands all time.

I agree, I mean who doesn’t love Phil Collins? :scratch2:

I saw Genesis at Madison Square Garden in the Summer of 1978- fabulous show.

When it was time for the encore an extra performer appeared on the stage, Peter Gabriel was in town and he joined them in a stunning version of: "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)" :D

Calling all stations was one of my favourite songs from the later period.
