A have a question for you: can a PS-1230 work with a pair of M-6200 + C-3850 + DP-750?
Yes, easily. I've got a similar setup, with PS-1220 + M-6000 + C-3850 + DP-750.

Will it limit the dynamic of power amp? Have you compared with amp connect directly to wall?

Yes, I have checked both. I prefer the better resolution with the power amps connected to the PS-1220 and accept a minimal reduction in dynamic.

Thank you jororupp! You have a very nice audio system, congratulations!

I have received the Accuphase PS-1230 and I am very pleased with.
It works perfect with M-6200 + C-3850 + Yamaha WXC-50 and a cd player CD-N301 (until next year when the DP-750 will come).
With all these connected indicates ~400VA or ~2% and after a few minutes ~1,75%.
When I listening to music low or moderate the power consumptions is the same, about 400VA.
Only in very high peaks the indicators moves very slowly.
The speakers are Dynaudio Confidence C4.

The PS-1230 it's very quiet, there is NO hum, buzz, hiss, etc.
I also enjoy that at these new models you can turn meter operation and meter
illumination on or off.

Only few remarks which I hope Accuphase will solve in the next new generation:
1.On the PS-1230 there must be 8 schuko outlets instead 4 schuko + 4 small C7 outlets. (also in the PS-530 must be 6 schuko instead 3 schuko + 3 small C7 outlets)
2.At the PS-1230 the front aluminium panel must be larger, at it's full height 243.4 mm, the front aluminium panel at PS-1230 must look like his small brother PS-530 (now Accuphase use the same front aluminium panel at both power supply).

Looks like there is still plenty of headroom for your setup. Can I say that there is no reduction of dynamic when the power amps are plugged into it?

djradu2004 02-27-2020 08:51 AM

Hello kimurastanley!
At first sight there is no reduction of dynamic in my system using Accuphase PS-1230.
I will test it thoroughly after 200 hours of working. Keep in touch!

Does anyone have any experience with the ps-530?
I'm thinking of getting one for the E-380, but I'm afraid that it'll clamp dynamics on it.

Any other recommendations or comments on other power regenerators or isolation transformers like bryston bit-15.

New PS530 and PS1230

I have two 1230s and have never heard any constriction in dynamics ever. No experience with the 530, but I have lots of confidence in accuphase engineering. That’s likely misplaced fan boy confidence on my part, but there it is. Just be sure the 530 has enough horses for your intended load.

Zero issues running my E-800 thru my PS-530.
