My wife and I finished earlier this morning. It was our first Disney run.

Pretty fun overall. Did anyone else on the forum happen to participate?

Saw some crazy costumes today actually [emoji41]

I will need to train harder if I want to wear a costume, haha

Congrats!
A half-marathon is a nice distance.

I'm a runner also, but I prefer the 400m nowadays. :D

Sweet. My entire 20 years in the Army I disliked running....
then a handful or more years after I got out I started doing 10Ks--then 10 milers and trail halves, then a 22.4 trail triple race all in a morning, then did 2 road marathons (Bryan/College Station and Austin) a month apart from one another. Just did the Prague half a few weekends ago. And I tell you ...it STILL hurts to run..haha. Like fine Audio equipment and bikes, the medal rack is nice to look at!

I ran track and cross-Country in high school. Disliked the really long runs then, but I have kind of grown into it now.

I plan on running the challenge at Disney next year, so I will have to get back into the swing of running soon. A 5K, then 10K, then half-marathon in consecutive days is going to be tough [emoji41]
