Ivan, what are your impressions of this gear?

Ritmo 10-15-2012 06:25 AM

I felt this was a very good room. For me, the best sounding room with YG Acoustics speakers. The other YG rooms were not as musical.

Although, the room was a bit small for the system.

Definitely the best YG room, thanks to Vince Galbo at MSB who knows how to set up speakers. Pity so few people setting up the rooms at these shows know as much as Vince. Or Bill.

But even so, the YG didn't sound their best. Maybe the room, maybe MSB. I'm still not convinced about MSB's non-DAC products.

I liked this room along with the Veloce/YG room. But liked the GTT room with veloce/tenor/YG speakers more than any other room at the show.

Having owned two Burmester 911 before the MSB S200. MSB has more clarity then the Burmester whether that's a good thing only you and the rest of your system will know. But Burmester finish is A+, also one 911 is twice as much as one S200. Now if your not convinced about their 203 monos I can understand because of their circular shape.

I thought the tenor amp with the YGs had more weight, texure, warmth and detail than the MSB room. Also the speakers in the bigger GTT room had more room to show how good they are. To me, best room of show by quite a bit.
