Ok, so let’s say that you just came into $25,000 dollars; but you have to spend it on audio gear.

What would you do with it? :scratch2:

Okay, I'm in....McIntosh MC611 x 3 :D

Payoff the c2700 I just ordered. Add to that a men220, an additional 601 or change them out to 611. The rest if any on cables.

My disease is advanced enough that that's like one component now lol. I just bought a VAC Master preamp for about that. Tube gear "not so much on a budget" these days sounds amazing; always money well spent :)

If I got another $25K to blow on audio today - I could try to upgrade to the Statement-level above my current 200iQ tube amps, but would probably take a bit more than $25 plus sale of current amps, and I'd have to downsize from monoblocks to just a stereo amp. SO that money might as well go into a fund to eventually build an "audio barn" dedicated listening room. Trying to find a GREAT room for audio in residential homes is demoralizing. I want concrete slab underneath, golden ratio room dimensions, 10-foot ceiling, no support posts in the way, good physical security / restricted access, etc.

As much dCS stuff as that will buy.

I have to admit I'm pretty happy w/my system right now. I'd probably put 4k of that into whatever Technics 1200 I end up getting. If I could find one, a McIntosh MC2000. Maybe I'd consider some monitor speakers instead of my towers too.

Two cartridges for the Clearaudio I bought from you.

Mc 1.25KW's and a VPI Prime Sig would do just fine here. $25G's probably isn't enough but I'd be glad to add some extra cash if it isn't.

This wouldn't happen to be a Legend Audio Video 2021 giveaway would it? You're too kind Ivan. :D
