does size matter....

get your mind out of the gutter, what's the size of your listening room and of course what speakers are you using? i am buying a new house and i am having to convince my SO that i need a specific room do to the size

My room is about 10x15.5 feet and I am using McIntosh XR100 speakers. My listening chair and ottoman are about 10 feet back from the speakers. I wish I could place the speakers a little further back from the wall but I am limited by a closet door. All in all I am pleased with my set up like it is.

Yeah my room is 13.5’w x 12.5’ l x 11’h. I used two layers of Sheetrock with green glue then block paneling on top. The walls are thick!!! Room sounds great……. It’s on the smaller side but I really like it

My room is about 25’ wide and 30’ feet deep… but the room widens to 35’ at the back. It is really kind of a Z that is 35’. There are also halls eminating from the space. It is highly asymmetric and is the best space I have ever heard.

I have Sonus Faber Amati speakers. I had SF Olympica 3 before these. I considered the smaller Sergio and the larger Lillium and chose these… because they sonically fit the space.

My audio room 1s 16ft by 38ft. My main speakers are B&W 802D speakers, Bryton 600 watt amps and two JL113 subs.

My room is 12’-6” x 16’-3” x 12’0”H. My speakers are along the long wall. Speakers are Dynaudio Heritage Special powered by a PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium (with KT-150s), about 48 tube watts into 8 ohms (the Dyns are 4 ohms). The Dyns really have very good bass for speakers of their size but I ‘m thinking its time to supplement them with a pair of smallish (possibly 10” JLs) subs. I also have a Sennheiser soundbar wall mounted beneath a 65” LG OLED which I find does 3-d sound (Atmos) amazingly realistically even without a sub but I think would be just so much better with one (or two).

you should consider the dynaudio dual 9" sub, its a killer sub and would match really well with what u have
