BACKERT LABS Rhythm 1.3

After owning the Rhythm 1.3 for two weeks I can say that this is a fantastic preamp. The way this tube based preamp together with my SS McIntosh MC-462 amp makes my Sopra 2’s sing is spectacular. The secret sound must come from the GreenForce science. Believe me, you will hear the magic from the way it handles your favorite bass note right through the spacious mids and highs. After rolling a few tubes I have settled on the Gold Lion ECC82/B749 [Gold Lion 12AU7 Re-Issue]. Please do yourself a favor and look into their loaner program and audition this Masterpiece.

A close friend owns one and I was extremely impressed upon hearing it multiple times.

A world class preamp...

The low price compared to other top-tier options is incredible.

I completely agree. The Rhythm is in a league of its own. Even when compared to Backerts entry level.
