Tidal and DSD via MQA
 

I have roon running into a dCS Bartok and was surprised to see DSD on the track. It does not appear to be playing in DSD. If I look up the same track on the Tidal app, its just redbook. I wonder if this might be a metadata mistake or maybe the source was DSD?

My Bartok doesn’t have the same icon. Was something changed?

I think roon defaulted to that icon but you can edit. Is your Bartok the headphone model?

Are you referring to the icon near the volume slider or the icon in the signal path window? I edited the one by the volume and chose an icon from the provided selection.

Ah I see - I thought the icon might have changed when u changed a setting in the Bartok.. like upsampling to DSD
