Have never heard TAD speakers but have always had an intrigue with the brand. Their approach to technology and design are fascinating to read.

These TAD GE1s are gorgeous! At MSRP $65k USD, they're the closest floorstander alternative to the current R1s for about 40% of the price.

Take a look at the flow port and base execution, another beautiful touch IMO.

While a very well respected brand, TAD's bass port appears to not be dissimilar to that used by Canton in their Reference line (and a few other speakers).
