Pity its nothing like the TV series which was wonderful. Edward Woodward was a fine actor.

Still a very enjoyable films & I'm looking forward to this release.

Agreed. The first time I ever saw him was in Breaker Morant. He was amazing and it was an absolutely superb film. He could really embody "intensity" on-screen.

Yes, Breaker Morant was an awesome film, the highlight being Woodward's character's speech at the Court Martial on 'Rule 303'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj8N8Nvv6ys

Also, when they are walking to be executed, the 2 characters held hands- it was improvised by Woodward and wasn't in the script. Woodward later found out that actually happened in real life! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRLsxkVSH8E

Both scenes are Spine-tingling moments.

SUCH a good film! Director Bruce Beresford went on to direct Tender Mercies, for which Robert Duval rightly won a Best Actor Academy Award. Also a beautiful film.
