Your Favorite Meal out?
 

What's one of your favorite meals when you go out for a Special dinner?

I enjoy a fine Filet Mignon medium rare, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. Accompanied by a fine wine, and your Significant other; just doesn't get much better.

I discovered dumplings a few years back and I just love them!

The side dishes at my favorite dumpling restaurant are also pretty good, I know this might sound counter intuitive but here they are:

spicy cucumber salad
egg and coleslaw salad

I don't go too often but it's definately amongst my favorite!

Did someone or is someone going out to dinner for their "birthday"?

Ivan.......A 16 ounce medium rare prime rib with horseradish on the side, garlic mashed potatoes, lightly steamed broccoli covered with hollandaise sauce. For dessert, dark chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries.

Wow Ivan - talk about dead on perfect!! :thumbsup: This was my exact meal with Melinda on our last dinner out to Chandler's Steakhouse (THE place to go in Boise) - accompanied by a Long Shadows Feather Cabernet Savignon. It truly doesn't get much better than that, and I hope to duplicate that experience here very soon! :yes:

For me I don't have a favorite meal; however, I do love steak. Ironically, it's steakhouses that I frequent the least. Below are some of my favorite San Francisco restaurants.
