Good evening from Manhattan, NYC
Hello all
Long time lurker. Thought it would be a good time to join. If anyone is an amateur radio operator they will notice I used my callsign as my name. Have a ton of hobbies. Model trains, model cars, ham radio, cars, old broadcast transmitters, anything that has to do with valves etc. We live in a 2br apartment. Living room will be the listening area. Starting brand new so this should be a fun process. Thank you for having me... Bob |
Welcome!
You will find many like-minded and "well hobbied" individuals ready to help you part with your money. I myself enjoy audio, radio control cars, planes, helicopters, modeling, listening to valves/tubes... We have many sub-forums for all those topics. Welcome and have fun Bob. |
Welcome Bob! You’re practically a neighbor. I’m just a stone’s throw away in Staten Island.

Bob... Welcome to AA!

Welcome to AA. It’s a fun place.

Welcome! Glad to have you aboard.

Hi Bob, welcome!
Looking forward to hear about what you are thinking of putting together. I chuckled to myself about my system when I lived in Manhattan as a student - a Sony Discman and a pair of Bose Roommate speakers, and some boombox for a radio. Cheers, Paul |

. - - . .- .. -.-. - - - - - . My hobby is collecting hobbies. At least that’s what my wife says. Music, amateur radio, audio, biking, hiking, skiing, cars, it’s all good. Except golf. Hold on to your wallet - this crowd is not a support group for audio overspenders. No. Curious about your broadcast transmitter interest. I used to work for Harris/Gates and Broadcast Electronics. |
Welcome!
