Dear all AA of ARC,

I need your help. I live in Brussels and I have a REF5. I would like to upgrade it to a REF5SE.It seems that AR meet some problems, and upgrading is not possible for the moment. As it is not possible to contact AR with an email, could someone from US call them and ask when it will be available again?

Many thanks for your help.

jp...ARC is not having any problems. They just don't have an email address accessible to customers. You can call them or fax them at: Phone 763-577-9700 or Fax 763-577-0323. You have to dial the country code for the US first and the numbers above. Alternatively, you can have your dealer call ARC and follow up directly. Also, just to be clear have you already sent in your Ref 5 to be upgraded to SE edition or are you trying to find out how long it will take if you were to send it in? I would have your local ARC dealer follow up on this but hopefully the numbers above will help you reach ARC directly if that's what you want to do.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi Cyril,

thanks for your explanation and in fact I would like to avoid to call ARC because a phone call from brussels to US will be very expensive. The problem I raised up is that upgrading to SE version are stopped for peamp REF5 and phono REF2. I would like to know when they hope the problem will be solved. I asked to my dealer but he has no idea, why it would be interesting to receive this information from ARC.

---With an International Calling Card it would be very inexpensive to call. :)
...That's what I've been doing for the last three years (even cheaper than Cell phones).

jp...i see. If I get a chance, I will call ARC and find out for you. It may be that they are backed up and are not taking new orders until they can clear the current backlog of upgrade orders. That would be my best guess.

Thanks Cyril, it's very nice from you

From what i have been told re phono se upgrade, they have had delays receiving parts necessary for the upgrade leading to potential fall start times.
