Will it run all of our McIntosh gear including the tone control on the 2300 and XM on the 88?

According to the manual, this thing will run everthing & even walk the dog!

I looked at it when I was picking up my SonoS unit. Pretty interesting but has way to much capability for my needs when I just have to turn on the MCD-500 and my amps (both at once with the remote for the PPP)

The problem with universal remotes is it takes so much time programing it.

I hear you Jim, I certainly don't need all the features either. I like that it is both an RF & Network transmitter. You can also surf the web or whatever you like. Seems user friendly, a big plus also.

So how do you like it ? I am looking for remote for the home theater room.

I love it better than anything else I have ever used. I think you will find it pricey at over $3K.

I have this one. RF and IR capable. Setup is fairly easy. For anyone getting this remote I would be willing to send them my setup file.
