Howdy gang. New member to the forum, old member to audio. I've been into audio since 1981, and have owned many systems (or at least many different components within those systems!). Much of my system has been modified or updated to some degree. Lots of DIY stuff too...it's what I affectionately refer to as "poor man's high end". I enjoy it a lot, and try to listen everyday. :yes: (I've had the pleasure of being exposed to some nice systems over the years that are above my pay grade, but have actually help me aim higher than my budget would ever allow)

I'll listen to just about anything good. Lately, it's been mostly folk, light rock, blues, and jazz vocals - Mark Knopfler, Chet Atkins, Johnny Hartman, Alison Krauss, Nora Jones, Gregory Porter, Robert Plant, Emmy Lou Harris, Eva Cassidy, Enya, Notting Hillbillies, Fogerty, Willie, Ronnie Earle

Let's see if I can figure out how to post pics of my system. It's certainly not fancy by true high end standards, but it suits my needs just fine. To keep peace in the family, the setup is not ideal most of the time, as the speakers are crammed way too far into the corners and are too far apart. On occasions I move them out to a closer to ideal location, and enjoy a little magic. :shades:
