This is floating around out there; is it urban legend or is it real? They're not even posted on the TAD site yet. They look like an upscale Evolution One but the specs are better in some areas....interesting ad.

I love my compact reference, but am intrigued to see what’s next after andrew’s departure. Not enough dealers in the us hurts their exposure and buzz, but I love mine.

Why did he leave?

He is just one man....I have heard several of his designs since he left TAD from the latest MoFi speakers and others, and while very good, I have the suspicion that the magic of TAD speakers is about 1 company, 1 very gifted team who actually built them, not 1 man | ego out front.

I have never heard a TAD speaker. Something tells me that someday I must do so. I can't explain why but something tells me this would be my end game if life's circumstances allowed me to get a pair. Of course I'd have to hear them first before deciding which of my worldly possessions I would sell off to pay for them
