Great New WW Review!

While I have no doubt that the Eclipse 8 cables are simply marvelous, they are also pricey and, therefore, beyond the financial ability of more than a few readers of AA to own. Consequently, let me suggest -- from my own experience -- that WireWorld's Equinox 8 interconnect cables are pretty terrific, too, and a comparative bargain.

Reviewer mentions how stiff they are. I tripped over one my Silver 7s this afternoon. Almost fell on my face. They are most unforgiving. But, like the cost.......... the SQ of these speaker cables are well worth the cost of entry & the stiffness. A BIG step up from the bi-wire Mini Eclipse they replaced. Get the best you can afford. You will be pleased.

FWIW, Series 8 is as flexible as a wet noodle. :)

My eclipse 8 xlr’s are very flexible.

Very nice review. Over a period of time, I eventually got my main system upgraded from Equinox cabling to Silver Eclipse in its entirety. I'll just say that while pricey, it was WELL worth the time, patience, and coin. The icing on the cake was when the Silver Eclipse 8 speaker cables finally made their way into my system. I was, and am still floored by the performance improvement....

Just received the Silver Eclipse 8’s . They are definitely more flexible than the previous 7’s.

I consider the Eclipse 8 speaker cables to be a "bargain", relatively speaking of course. I consider them one of the best value purchases that I have made from Ivan. They are vastly improved over the 7 series, both in terms of sound quality and flexibility. To my ears, they outperform the Silver Eclipse 7. I would hunt for a used pair if new is not in the budget. Definitely a keeper...and I don't say that too often....unfortunately
