MIT versus Transparent

Anyone done a direct comparision? If so, how do these cables differ?

I think it comes down to system synergy and personal taste. Both are excellent cables. I tried Transparent Reference IC and SC and didn’t really care for them and I have Wilson speakers. Tried the MIT Oracle (which is higher level than the reference) and bought the MIT and never looked back. Even when I’ve tried the Opus Transparent it had a character in my system I didn’t care for. That said I do use Transparent XL power cable as I couldn’t tell any difference between that and the MIT which was much more expensive. You really need to listen in your own system as others experiences are only directional at best. Good luck!

Thank you George for sharing your experience with both cables. I have always owned and used MIT and have only heard Transparent in showrooms. I have tried tons of other cables but never transparent.

The best cable I own is still MIT 350 SG EVO. I also have the Heritage series EVO 2’s which are good but a little soft on top. I have found over the years to get the magic of MIT you have to go pretty high up the food chain and the cost of entry is more than some components.
