The 32 has a first rate control programming and connection flexibility. It functionally exceeds anything built today. This makes me wonder why it's so hard for manufacturers to get it right when the standard was set 20 yrs ago. That goes for build quality too. I've owned mine for over 15 yrs now and find it hard to replace although I have used other units that were beautifully executed but not quite as functionally flexible.

I agree with the tech at Pyramid ... the 32's have lasted quite well as have a lot of their other gear. Back in 2011 I bought an already old combo of a No37 transport and a 360s dac ... used them almost everyday for almost 5 years then got the DSD bug and upgraded but they never missed a beat and their new owner is still using them often. If you love the sound of the 32 then just find one that is in great condition and you should be good! Good Luck!

they last a long time , Big job to change those caps and not needed unless they leak .

Just to change and sound wont improve is silly and costly . Just wait to see signs of audio signal deterioration .
