Actually it's simple he is still nursing his mom and learning from her as well as socialization from Mickey.

He (Rascal) will also learn from Mom using the Litter-Box .............

Kittens usually don't leave their mom until 12-weeks if all has gone smooth.

Since Rascal is the only kitten in the litter from Riggs (Dad) & Taylor (Mom).

I think he will be getting 100% of Taylor's attention as well as Mickey's on a daily basis.

I am thinking Mickey will tell me in October when to come get him and bring him to his new home in Franklin, TN.

Ivan, I think it will be an interesting thread for those that like/love kittens/cats to follow weekly.

I'll do my part to keep things up to date.

Being a little serious I saw Mom come right over when Mickey picked Rascal up in the short video she sent me.

Mom keeps a very close eye on Rascal her Son.

I've gotten all of my kittens at either 6 or 8 weeks of age, but they were in a shelter, not from a breeder.

I found this very cute Maine Coon kitten video.

FedEx delivered 1 Large piece of Rascal's furniture today

Hello,

Well FedEx backed up to the turn around in the rear of the house this afternoon.
And the guy brought out this "Huge" box with one of Rascal's new larger pieces of furniture.

Luckily the fellow was a nice guy and we UN-Boxed the, CatsPlay, Cat-n Cradle Cat Tree, as a team.
It is one very large piece of furniture guys.
The guy also was nice enough that he took one end of it and I took the other and we took and sat it inside the formal living room.
(Thank-Goodness for double-doors to that room)

Cathy and I then took it up the stairs to the room that is her office and where my computer is located.
That's also where Rascal will more than likely be spending a lot of his time.

I had a spot all set-up for the new piece of furniture.
However it is even larger than I had thought it was going to be.

Rascal as a kitten is going to love playing on it and taking some serious naps I imagine.

And then as he matures into a Big Male Maine Coon Cat he will still easily fit on this with No-Worries.

I also redid the desk area so Rascal could also hang out right beside where I sit using the computer.
Even got him a super soft cat bed to lie on so he will make himself right at home.

I did take pictures of everything to Share with you all.

Below is the Huge Box the piece of furniture came in that the FedEx guy helped me in UN-Boxing and taking inside the house.

Below is Cathy's office, the room the piece goes in, and as you can see I have made a space for it.
(Also notice the desk to the left still is not set-up for his new area with his bed)

Below is the new piece in it's place and it did take up more space than I thought it would.

Below is a picture of it, it's 44-inches tall.

Below is a Close-Up of the tape measure showing it's height.

Below I did some serious rearranging of the desk as you can see in the picture.

Below is a "Close-Up" picture of Rascal's new area with his Super Soft Bed.

I think he will be spending a lot of time right there beside me keeping an eye on Dad. http://www.imboc.com/forums/images/I...face_smile.png

The Secret-Squirrel guys Cal & Tom Cochran struck from Texas yesterday ...

Hello gang,

Well yesterday was 1-very busy day at this house.

Check this out everyone below in what came via US Postal Service yesterday afternoon.

Without getting to wordy if that's even possible by me.
http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...psc7038ad2.gif

Cathy goes out to get the mail as the driver drove up to our Mail-Box.
There was a Large envelope that would not have fit in our mail-box.
So the mailman just handed it to Cathy along with our other mail.

Turns out the envelope was from Tom & Cal Cochran brothers in San Antonio, Texas or there abouts.

So moving right along with this story this is how it goes.

Cathy brings in that envelope and we carefully open it so as to not damage the contents since neither of us has any idea what's in it.

(Oh, I should mention this is what's called, as a Secret-Squirrel gift, that's totally not expected)

Tom & Cal got their heads together and put their thinking caps on and below is what they came up with.

This all revolves around those brothers making a weeks visit to the tiger house back in June 2016.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps65gco2jz.jpg

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...pszduolwon.jpg

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps2eewetyk.jpg

Here is Cathy holding that rather large envelope.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...pspddgnmfl.jpg

In it was a 2017 Maine Coon Calendar that also covered the rest of 2016.
(Oh, and a White Envelope)

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...pso1uhd2nc.jpg

A close-up of what was in the Large-Brown-Envelope.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps0wwczfl3.jpg

Below is a picture of what was in the smaller white envelope as well as a personal letter.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...pswrifq6vr.jpg

A close-up of what Cathy is holding.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...psum6ejnsi.jpg

Here is a picture of the Maine Coon Calendar she decided to place on her Cork-Board right beside her.
(She told me I want it right here where I can "Enjoy" it everyday while I'm working)

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps1n1rgex1.jpg

Here is the Letter from Tom & Cal Cochran to Cathy & Me.
They could not have possibly done anything that would have meant more to either of us than what they did.
The letter below tells the story I talked about above and the gifts from the brothers to us.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...psbx0tb4l2.jpg

And per their suggestion I have decided to use the monies from both of them for Rascal's food.
It's pretty expensive but I'm going to use the exact same food Mickey uses at her, Maine Delite Cattery.
She has been a breeder of some Fabulous Maine Coon Kittens/Cats the past 15-years.

Also I want to "Thank" all of you that have sent me some (Great) suggestions on what food to use.
