WiFi Extenders??

I am really enjoying my streaming experience with the Aurender N30SA music server.
My only problem is using my Iphone or IPad as my remote control.
Because these remotes require Wifi signal to work, it appears my Wifi is weak due to the router being in my office.
Any suggestions on a quality WiFi extender to boost the signal in my listening room??
Thanks,
Gregg

I had the same exact problem when I added my Aurender and iPad.
I added a trio of EERO+ in different areas of my house, especially since my music room is on the opposite end of the house away from the router.
I had the Geek squad come in and set them up.
No more wi-fi issues, especially with my isolated Aurender and now Lumin steamers and my iPad.

My home was too large for even Wi-Fi extenders (EERO included). I set up multiple modems/routers on different floors; no more issues at all. Gigabit speed now throughout my home.

How does that work with your ISP? Do they allow multiple modems on the same account, or do you have multiple accounts?

Gregg, what is your main router? If you plan on keeping it, a good AP of the right brand may take care of the problem, but you'll want something that works well with your existing box so that it can broadcast the same SSID and have a seamless transition between devices. If you have easy Ethernet cable access in the room, an extender/access point that connects to the router via Ethernet will provide the fastest speeds. If you don't have Ethernet available, you'll need a strong enough wifi signal somewhere in the room from your base router for the extender to connect. In that case, a tri-band extender will provide best speeds, since the extender can use the third band to communicate with the router instead of bogging down the broadcast channels.

In general, TP-Link make popular and well-regarded access points (I have two outdoor directional TP-Link APs to connect wildlife cameras and they broadcast an effective signal 100 yards into the woods). Ubiquity are also excellent although pricey. Synology also make very solid devices.

The Geek Squad set up each EERO+ as a router on it's own.
Don't ask me how, but they seamlessly connected my entire upstairs, downstairs and music room, even though the music room is totally on the other side past the garages, into their own. And my whole house was already wired with ethernet, but I still had issues with all the wi-fi in the house, specifically in the music room.

easy fix, do a hardwire network, router, modem, network switch and 3-4 access point will typically cover a 8-12000sq/ft home easily set up properly.

Agreed. The more you can extend a hardwired network the better your options and reliability become. Easier said than done, esp. in an older home, but worth it.

I've done the hardwire and switches to portions of the house where I have access but where I don't I use an Orbi Mesh system. The other issue is at some point you need to go wifi if you are using your phone or tablet.

Here is the latest and greatest.

Currently using the 750 series and it works well.
