SS Camaro Gets an Upgrade

I've been toying with the idea of installing a cold air intake kit and when I was in at my mechanic's last week for a minor thing on the wife's car, I asked him for a price. When he told me around $125, I said let's do it. When I went to pick up the car and the bill was $110, I was quite happy.

That's excellent. Can't beat that for an excellent upgrade. Always a fan of K&Ns.
Still miss my RS.

Great price for that nice modification. Understand you may have to ‘oil’ that filter once a year or so.

I'm trying to remember, can you buy pre oiled filters?

I suppose you can but it will be much cheaper just oiling the one you have. It’s not a difficult process. If I remember correctly, you wash it well then put a few drops of oil on one end and let gravity fill in the entire filter.

Easy to wash and use a spray can of oil.
