McIntosh D100 driver...
I have been using my D100 with a MacBook Pro for some time now, at the time of set up no software driver required, but today having purchased a new PC I neglected to realize I require the software driver for Windows.
I am unable to find the driver, does anyone know if the drivers for software set ups are now unavailable for older DACs? Greg |

YES “E” is the MAN! Fortunately I have been lucky enough to have found this forum and the people associated like E…….. he has been EXTREMELY helpful over the 6-7 yrs that I have owned his gear Silenzo. Customer service is incredible / top notch

There's a windows driver on the McIntosh site under the D1100. I'm assuming it's the same one that you need, but I don't know that for sure.

I assume you are looking for the PC driver zip file for your D100.
I've attached it to this post. |
Thanks so much folks, yes Michael, bet this is it too.
And not soon after posting my inquiry here I thought on a whim I would ask McIntosh to see as well. I was forwarded to Ron C himself, yes he's still there! and he led me to the C49 driver, one of which works with the D100 as well so. It installed up until the dreaded Windows 10/11 not enough memory error....LOL I will try your zip file as well Michael, thank you for that Greg |
Good luck Greg! Let us know how things go.
That V2.0 set was the latest one McIntosh produced for both the D100 & D150. |
Hi all, Michael it worked, 32/192 sounding spectacular this morn, thx again folks, AA to the rescue again, amazing, Greg
