Streaming Tidal: Is it worth upgrading N10 to N20 or W20SE
hi friends,
Just wondering, is it worth upgrading my current N10 to the W20SE Or N20 if I stream a lot of Tidal music ? Does N20 or W20SE give a good sonic improvement from he N10 when doing such streaming ? Thanks slim |
N20 over N10
I went from the N10 to N20. A very clear improvement when streaming Quobuz . Steve

n20 over n10
I was a afraid you would ask that...afraid I am not too good at describing what I hear, but here goes:
The N20 is more "robust", the frequency extremes are clearer and more detailed. I can better separate instruments in the sound stage with the N20, and noise level may be lower (both are of course really quiet). When i choose different filters in my DAC, I can detect the differences more easily with the N20. Hope that helps. Steve |
We dropped Tidal and went with Qobuz and use the Aurender N30SA. A jump to the N20 will definitely give you better SQ.

I have an Aurender N100 and W20SE… I auditioned an N10. Yes, worth every penny. I was concerned at its price… it instantly changed categories to a bargain for the sound quality. My streaming is now of the same caliber as my analog stage… Linn LP12, Koetsu Rosewood Signature, ARC Ref 3 phono stage.

Which one would you say is the best bang for the buck?
I was considering the N200 but the N20 is supposedly better but more $$ |
