Looks like a really nice amplifier, I would imagine any upgrades over the 900 would be a real stepup as well as that amp was reviewed.

+1 on that Buck,...given what I heard from the 900u at Jeff's place late last year, I'd love to hear this new beauty too!

Very nice, though I find it odd that they don't offer full Class A amps since they offer Class A integrated amps.

I agree, they used to offer full Class A amplifiers. I also had heard that the new amp was supposed to be a a true Mono, but obviously that information was incorrect. Still, I am sure it is going to be a great amplifier.

My dealer said it won't be available till next year in the USA. In November Audio Video Therapy in Nashua NH is having an audio show and the Luxman rep will be at the event. So it will be nice to get some current info on the company.

Spec wise I don’t see a big step up from the M900u

guitardave 10-30-2021 09:22 PM

I did reach out to Luxman on this amp and was told they are not expected in the US until at least March 2022.

And the way things are now, who really knows?

I can't wait to see what this new flagship integrated will look like!

TOGA 10-26-2022 01:45 AM

C10X is flagship preamplifier.

GSOphile 10-26-2022 08:03 AM

I heard the M-10X in a friend's system last week with a Pass XP-32, driving Dynaudio C4 speakers. I've heard this system several times before with Pass amplification. We played mostly classical music. The new Luxman is very impressive - tone, detail, dynamics, sound stage, all there.

Thanks for clarifying. I figured the same thing based on the nomenclature but got confused by the google translation. I guess the translation meant their newest flagship integrated amp will be at the Tokyo show in addition to the new flagship pre-amp.

Today C10X debut in Japan.

looks exactly like the last preamp though.

Looks inside are the same. Outside the edges are aligned like D-10X and M-10x
So basically what changed? Wondering how it can even sound better than the c900u.

So the price is around 12'500USD in Japan. Crazy and here its 19'000 USD. But for this price its still better than audio products from us manufactures that are double the US price ;-)
