Wow, that was a BIG surprise. It will be interesting to see and hear these new speakers, and entertaining to read how the pundits embrace them. Pricing is attractive.

They have a lot of similarity to some older speakers from Energy... Cool. If they are even half as well built as their amps there should be some happy (potential) customers.

I think the design philosophy was go for performance and keep costs down by avoiding the "glitz". I will be interested in the reviews of the "active" series; at ~$10,500/pair, the price is very attractive.

The first attachment says they will be manufactured in North America. I just assumed that meant Canada since their main manufacturing facility and all their electronics are assembled there :dunno:
