GT4 in Racing-Yellow ordered 12/29/2020 by Terry aka tigerhonaker https://www.audioaficionado.org/showthread.php?t=49414 March 14th 2021 Guys, This is a World-Wide Porsche internet site so I'm thinking there probably are numerous members that use "Photoshop". I'm reaching out to those of you that use it for your assistance. I would love to get the general idea of what my 2021 Racing-Yellow GT4 would look like with the following additions. So, guys, would one of you help me with this ??? Here's a side picture as I built it on the Porsche Home Page. https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds I would Really-really like to see what it would look like with the following additions. These Side-Graphics in Black: https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds Change the Racing Yellow "Side-Scoops" to the OEM Black like in the picture below as an example: https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds My thanks guys, Terry ________ |
Leave it stock. Understated elegance at its best.

Yep, don’t touch it.

I much prefer stock too.

Hi Terry,
I'm clearly an amateur PS user, but for what it's worth, here is my attempt to help. ron https://is.gd/DlLl6H |

I gotcha but I'm one of those guy's that likes my cars to appear to others as Special. So, I'm going with the Graphics as I want that look as well as to have some IMO much needed contrast to offset the Racing-Yellow. Terry |

Hi Ron, You done good ........... Do you have the expertise to add the side graphic in the below picture ??? I know it's a poor excuse of it but unfortunately it's all I could find on-line. I just don't have a clue as to what can be done with Photoshop ???????????? If you cannot add the lower-side-graphic No-Worries at all. :D I appreciate what you have done and at least I now have some idea of changing those Racing-Yellow side-scoops to Black look like against the Racing-Yellow. I once upon a time had a Challenger Hellcat that was also the Bright Yellow. And if you know what the Hellcat is you then know just how Gig/Large a vehicle it is. The Custom Black graphics I had added to it just really worked out great. IMO there can be to much Bright-Yellow when there's nothing to offset it. Sadly I cannot right now pull up any images from my Photobucket account as Photobucket is currently down. :sigh: I do have a picture that a member over on Rennlist provided that's a lot clearer of those Black side graphics than mine. Okay guys,
One of the members over on the Porsche Rennlist.com internet site just did this for me. I just asked him if he could also do the Black door handles ??? If anyone of you can add the Black door handles I will then be able to see exactly what mine will look like. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...fd06eb0fc7.jpg Thanks guys, Terry |
Okay guys,
I now have the finished image from a member on Rennlist Porsche internet site that goes by clutchplate. I finally was able to use my FastStone Editor and resized the much larger image. Anyway here is the completed Photoshop image of what mine will look like. https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds Terry |
Hi Terry,
I would wait until you get the car and see it from the factory as it was built. When I bought my GT-3 new in 2004, I had the dealer New Country in Greenwich CT add the protection armor to the nose, front half of the hood, both side mirrors, and side skirts but that was because I knew we wete going to the race track. :) It is the brand made there. Can't remember the name. The sand and dust blowing around Willow Springs which is called "the fastest track in the west" can do a job on the paint and windshield. Replaced one windshield but the paint on the car still looks great. |
