Aurender AMM (Aurender Media Manager) Update

A thread to discuss current and future Aurender Firmware updates. Noteworthy is that Aurender does a very fine job at keeping both the device firmware and IOS App software up-to-date.

Current update AMM (Aurender Media Manager) 3.2 [Mac and Windows] debut 2nd of May 2016

Looking at Aurenders website does not tell me what the 3.2 imporovements are. Does anyone know?

Aurender added something weird to the conductor APP. A copy feature of some kind, it slowed it down too for me.

Just tried it and I didn't notice a slow down. I'll keep fiddling with it and see what happens.

I have grown rather fond of Aurender.

My N100 arrived yesterday I'm excited to get it up and running. I'm confused about AMM. Does it run all the time on a computer that's on the network? That would be an iMac thats hosting iTunes right now. Or would I have it on my macbook pro? My music is all on a big drobo.

I am not an expert. But, like when plug in an external to the back of mine...I do not use a NAS for music...I use the AMM to manage or my IOS App.

Goof around with it. The Aurender as I am learning is extremely flexible...built to high standards and requires so minimal effort to enjoy. It's nearly plug and play.

You know who to chat up, j3brow [Jason]. He can help and the Aurender support is very nice.

BTW: I bought an iPad Pro for my Aurender, I like the visual realestate when working with the APP.

I format my mobile music drives so that they are read in both OSX and Windoze. This way all my devices are recognizable with Apple, Windoze and Android OS devices.

However, if you format OSX proprietary, launch the Aurender App on your OSX desktop, and it doesn't matter. Just drag and drop the music files on to your crazy awesome Aurender toy.

Dude, you are going to love your Aurender. It's a suite machine. BTW: Jason [J3BROW] was right and told me so...I drank the koolaid man!

You need AMM initially to build the music library with album art on your unit. You can just point to your network storage via the iOS app to get music playing, but you won't have all the album artwork.

The AMM program does not need to running all the time on a machine.

Using an old iPad 2 and Gen 1 Mini for the N100H and Auralic Mini. Both iPad's bounce around the house as remotes for music / video systems.

I do have my eye on a new surface or iPad pro :).
